3000 YEARS

Less than 3000 years ago,
                                 I took a World History class and an Art History class at the same time.

Greek.. Roman... Persian.. Assyrian.. Egyptian...

I had some aspirations ...
                                Archeologist, perhaps...
                                                                   Anthropologist, maybe

                                                             I had visions

            Walking over dusty paths and being rewarded with a glimpse back in time

Getting closer to another culture

Taking a deep breath as the details are revealed

                                               What is this place?

Will we see a hobbit?

Do people live here today?

                                                               Indeed, they do.

A truly extraordinary place.
